How we classify
Our content team rates each title on its theme, violence, language, sexual content, drugs and impact, following the guidelines in the Schedule to the IT Rules 2021. The rating and a short content descriptor (for example “mild violence, strong language”) appear on the title page and on screen before every title starts.
Parental controls
Kids mode limits a device to U and U/A 7+ titles. A 4-digit PIN chosen by the parent is needed to leave it.
Complaints
Anyone can complain about a title or its rating through the grievance form or by email to ibmhclms@gmail.com. Our Grievance Officer acknowledges complaints within 24 hours and decides within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you may escalate to the self-regulating body and then the oversight mechanism set out in the Rules.
